BEHIND THE LENS
I can’t wait to hear your story… until then, here’s a little of mine!
I grew up in a little rural town in Iowa and I was always making something or getting lost in imaginary places. Photos of my dog with my disposable camera, painting horses, building dollhouses, or making hideouts out on the farm — it didn’t matter what it was, I just wanted to use my imagination. I am so grateful for this creative soul that God gave me.
12 years ago I married my best friend and it’s been the wildest, best ever adventure! (Life hack: marry someone who loves Jesus and coffee just as much as you do) We have 4 amazing boys, have flipped 3 homes, and traveled to so many amazing places. The wanderlust bug runs deep in our bones and we love experiencing anything new together. And cappuccinos, sunsets, and tacos.
Currently we’re fully immersed in family island life on Big Island! It’s an incredible, breathtaking place (I can’t wait to show you!) and we’re constantly basking in the natural beauty around us, jumping at any opportunity to explore. The boy’s energy and wonder and zest for life is so contagious; they inspire me every single day. You can often find us at the skatepark, tending our gardens and chickens, chasing sunsets and waves, or chillin at home in sunny Kohala (which probably means there’s somethin on the grill).

/ We homeschool our boys and I LOVE IT
/ I love art in so many forms : ballet, music, painting, baking, interior design to name a few
/ Mexico, France, and Thailand are my favorite international places I’ve traveled to. Travel is something I love so deeply and enjoy chatting about most!
